My name is Amadeus Ciok. I’m the owner of Learn Vibrant Math Tutoring.

I personally handle all consultations with parents. The purpose of the 15-minute consultation is for us to get to know each other, and determine whether you are good a fit for our services.
I believe that you, as a parent, know what is best for your child.

For some people, our services are exactly what they need. Other people are looking for something different. Therefore, my goal isn’t to try to convince you that we should work together, but rather find out what your goals are, what you want, and what your child’s situation is, and determine if that’s a good match for our services and how we can help.

I believe it’s critical that, before we get started, we get clear about your goals, expectations and determine how Learn Vibrant can help your child.

To make it easier, here is who we do NOT work with:

• parents who just want one quick tutoring session for their child right before a test (because it is a very ineffective approach and it causes children a lot of unnecessary stress)
• parents who want a tutor to do homework for their child or walk them through it without teaching them how to actually solve problems
• parents who care the most about grades and much less about their child’s confidence, analytical thinking and math skills (because we believe that grades are the result of developing math skills, not the other way around)

A lot of companies ask for payments before they ever meet you or help you in any way, and we are NOT one of them.

Even a 15-minute phone call is an investment. Why should you get on the call, for even 1 minute, what are you going to get out of it? As a busy parent, juggling work, family and other responsibilities, your time is very valuable. Also, you probably get bombarded by people asking you to have a “quick call” with them all the time (I know I do).

I have been helping parents in Bay Area through consultations and mentoring, including phone consultations, for over 10 years.

At Learn Vibrant, I am responsible for establishing progress plans for our students, and talking to parents to make adjustments, monitor their children’s progress and make changes to continuously improve our students’ results and their tutoring experience.

For your child, at the beginning, that will include determining what will make the biggest impact on their progress, how we can skyrocket their grade in minimum time and how to make math more fun and interesting for them. Also it is very important for me to align the plan with what you want, your goal, their math class, and their “math history”.
